Carroll Waste have recently demonstrated their commitment to the local community by sponsoring football team, St Edmunds.
Carroll Waste which is part of parent company, The Carroll Group, has pledged their support to the former league winners whose home ground is at Litherland Sports Park.
The football team received financial sponsorship from Carroll Waste to invest in much needed training sportswear.
The team which are currently undefeated this season have previously scooped the league winner’s title and competed in national competitions across the country.
Group Director, Terry Carroll, said: “As a Merseyside-based company it is important that we support local initiatives and essentially give back to the community. We felt that sponsoring the team was an ideal opportunity to invest in a local group who required some financial backing. All the staff at Carroll Waste are looking forward to supporting the team over the coming season.”
Steven Scott, St Edmunds Football Team Manager, added: “We sincerely appreciate the support we have received from the local community, especially Carroll Waste who have kindly sponsored our new training sportswear. On behalf of the team I would like to thank the company for their goodwill. We are lucky to have received such generosity as a lot of local sports teams find it difficult to secure funding for essential equipment and kit. Thanks to the organisation we have 21 personalised training kits and are looking forward to another successful season.”
